Bringt Farbe ins Zentrum WANITA/Bringing colour to WANITA centre for women&girls

Das Projekt WANITA ist das erste interkulturelle Zentrum für Frauen und Mädchen aus dem Bezirk Harburg und soll im geschütztem Rahmen Austauschmöglichkeiten und Empowerment für alle aus dem Bezirk Harburg schaffen. Die Zielgruppe sind Expertinnen ihrer eigenen Lebenswelt. Mit kulturellen Veranstaltungen, Angeboten und Aktivitäten sollen das harmonische und solidarische Miteinander sowie die Partizipation am gesellschaftlichen Leben gefördert werden. Das Projekt verfolgt den Ansatz der Anerkennung von gesellschaftlicher Vielfalt und Diversität. Die Zielsetzung von dem Projekt WANITA ist es Frauen und Mädchen mit und ohne Migrationsbiographie über niedrigschwellige, intergenerative, soziokulturelle Angebote anzusprechen und ihre Ressourcen und Kompetenzen zu stärken. Die Aufenthaltsräume des Zentrums gleichen leider eher einer sehr kalten und neutralen Umgebung.

Hier möchten sie gern mit etwas Farbe und Akzenten eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre für alle schaffen, die die Angebote des Zentrums nutzen. Ziel ist es, das Zentrum dadurch noch mehr als Ort der Zusammenkunft zu etablieren.

Aufgaben:
- Streichen von Wänden und Anbringen von Bildern und Ä.
- Dekorieren des Aufenthaltsraumes

- Ein Mittagessen sowie Getränke können gestellt werden. Bitte teilt uns mit, ob ihr bestehende Unverträglichkeiten habt oder ein veganes oder vegetarisches Essen bevorzugt. Danke!

What's it about?

WANITA is the first intercultural centre for women and girls from the Harburg district and aims to create opportunities for exchange and empowerment for everyone in the district within a safe environment. The target group consists of women who are experts in their own lives. Through cultural events, programmes and activities, the project seeks to promote harmonious and supportive coexistence, as well as participation in social life. The project takes an approach based on the recognition of social diversity. The aim of the WANITA project is to reach out to women and girls, with and without a migration background, through low-threshold, intergenerational, socio-cultural activities, and to strengthen their resources and skills. Unfortunately, the centre’s common rooms tend to resemble a very cold and neutral environment.

Here, they would like to use a touch of colour and decorative accents to create a welcoming atmosphere for everyone who uses the centre’s services. The aim is to further establish the centre as a place of community.
